
Chris Brennan
ManagerAs an Education Specialist at St. Louis Trust & Family Office, Chris Brennan helps client families navigate wealth transfer, ensuring the next generation is prepared to manage and sustain their financial legacies. Using cognitive development as a foundation for curriculum design, he collaborates with the firm’s client service teams to create engaging, tailored learning experiences that foster financial literacy and responsible wealth stewardship.
Chris spent 13 years at Mary Institute St. Louis Country Day School (MICDS) as a lead educator and curriculum developer, earning a Chair of Distinguished Teaching and multiple Merit Awards. While teaching at MICDS, he led the Global Scholars Program at the African Leadership Academy in Johannesburg during the summer. His career has also taken him to Darwin, Bangkok, and Cebu. Chris holds a Bacher of Science in International Business and Spanish from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Arts in Education & Innovation from Webster University, along with a Certificate for Admission & Enrollment Professionals (CAEP©). As a published author, his works on sustainability, bilingual education, and financial literacy have appeared in multiple journals.
Beyond his work, Chris brings his passion for mentorship and competition to youth sports, serving as head coach and program coordinator for the John Burroughs School squash program. He also coaches JV Boys Tennis at JBS and previously spent over a decade coaching water polo at MICDS. A dual U.S.-U.K. citizen and past president of the Scottish St. Andrew Society of St. Louis, he enjoys skiing, padel, platform tennis, and HIIT workouts. A longtime vintage Land Rover restorer, he embraces the challenge of keeping classic Defenders running well-past their “use by” dates. Chris and his wife, Amanda share a passion for travel and made sure their son had a passport by the time he was six weeks old. A lifelong learner, Chris devours books on innovation, problem-solving, and survival skills, and was a contestant on Wheel of Fortune during Pat Sajak’s final season, finishing a respectable second place.
