Gavin D. Coveney joined the firm in June 2024 as an associate. In this role, he works with his colleagues helping to provide unique investment advice, creative tax and estate planning, and specialized charitable giving strategies. Gavin enjoys working on a team providing education and peace of mind to the next generation of client families.

Gavin holds two degrees from Saint Louis University, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Entrepreneurship as well as a JD. Following his college graduation, Gavin worked in the real estate world as a senior transaction coordinator, negotiating real estate needs for Fortune 500 companies. While in law school, Gavin worked at a small boutique family law and wills and trust firm learning the basics of estate planning. Additionally, in law school, Gavin served as editor for the Saint Louis University Law Journal and was the Vice President of Finance for the Student Bar Association. After law school graduation, Gavin began work as an insurance defense attorney providing support for an arson fraud team. Gavin’s unique background provides a new perspective on complex issues arising out of the generational transfer of wealth.

In his free time, Gavin enjoys skiing/snowboarding, cooking, visiting new St. Louis restaurants, and working out. While no longer the club baseball player he was in college, he still enjoys playing softball and running. An avid Billiken and Cardinals fan, Gavin tries to go to as many live sports events as possible.
